This site has helped me for a lot of things on my art and to meet, grow and evolve the way I see the internet, so I tought. Why not? And this is my deviantart story.
To talk about it, I need to start with:
Endling was really important to me, because it's actually thanks to him I know this site.
7 years ago, I found by accident an image of Bleedman and his comic PPGD, it was cool, and thanks to him I saw the Everafter comic. And I was obsessed. I wanted to know more about this artist, so I stumbled upon his deviantart. I tought at first, this site was for pro artists, so I felt bad creating an account, since my art was still amateur. But a few days later I found out it was a place for everybody.
And so I checked how deep the rabbit hole went.
The next big thing and a source for inspirtation was:
His art was well known, but for the wrong reasons. A lot of people stoled his art and posted on random sites. I searched a lot of him and finally discovered his dA. Thanks to him, I decided to exlore the "chibi style".
Exploring similar art, wanting to do more chibis, I found Teruchan. Big influence because for a long time period, all I wanted to do was female bodies.
Now, exploring dA, finding similar artists, I had to step up my english level, and was thanks to that I got a better understandment of how different my culture was from the USA. I was exposed to a lot of new stuff, and in consequence developed a "thicker skin" for agressive behavior of the internet. But it wasn't until I saw:
And suddently the world became a much wider place. Kris and Cyanide and Happiness forced me to understand language jokes, and culture references, wich molded my humour and behavior on the internet.
Meanwhile, Pixel ID's quickly became a thing on this site and I discovered another big influence and inspiration:
Interested in all her works and how I could make art like her (and many more), finally got my hand on Photoshop, and my world changed forever.
Another thing I have SaiyaGina to thank for, is introducing me to the mexican deviantART community. One big discovery was a girl, who's art inspired me, not so much in the graphic way at that time, but got me more interested in textures and detayls:
Her art, always comes as a breath of fresh air, and now, when I want to experiment on texures, I always come back to Chocolatita.
But maybe at the same time I discovered:
The ammount of work and detayl was so breath taking. Thanks to him I spended more and more time on my works. To this day, the level of detayl still fascinates me.
At the same time, the Rumble in the Summer OCT was happening, and to me, it was such a big, interesting and different thing. And, as it was planned, another artist passed in front of me. His work helped me develop new and more diverese characters. I'm talking of course of the great:
His worked change the way I created characters forever. And then this girl happend:
To her, I have a lot to thank for. With her popularity came a chat, Teh Stream. With Teh Stream came the need to really REALLY understand differnt jokes, acronyms, grammar. I think if it wasn't for her, my english would still be poor. And thanks to her I meet a lot of interesting people, wich helped me meet, understand and know different different artists.
This people changed a lot of me. And I think this were my biggest online inspirations on this site. So thank you, thanks to you, my deviantart story started. I could go on, but this is the most important things.
Thank you deviantART, for this 7 years and congratulations for your 14 anniversary. Let's see what the future has in store for us.

It's been a while eh?

I decided to take a break from drawing a while ago. Took me a few months and stuff. It sucked. Then I was caught into some jobs and was stucked there for a while. Then I decided fuck it and started to work on my own, and you know the thing about that? It takes a lot of time. Time for everyone else but yourself. Without notice it's been 3 years since I been to the dA lands. Lots have changed (the gallery layout suuucks IMO). But I'm back. While I was out. I practiced a lot of different techniques and stuff, I feel like I grew up a little. There's some things I left pending and there's gonna be some uploads of that. But first, and I
Now something fun.

So, I have been detached from everything for a while and latley I think is finally time to get out of my slump.
In mid February my father fell ill and was hospitalized for a few weeks. Leaving my sister and I to take care of everything. At the end of February the company I was working for finally crashed and so I was unemployed.
March was a terrible month, between paying bills and going to lots of interviews and shit. The only good thing is that my dad was finally back on his feet.
April was the last stab in my back.
México continues to be an incredible place to live. And I mean incredible in bad and good light. Anything
Sleep depravation toughts.

Not much of interest latley. I reached the finals for the tourney I'm currently on. The Rebellion. That's cool. I have big plans for that one. I hope time is on my side in this final round.
I'm trying to study a bit of animation of my own. And I have a ton of ideas. I'm just... slugish. I need something to get me out of that lump.
I also developed a bit of insomnia.
Oh and if you don't know. I sell commissions. Always. I need money. Pls. Somebody allready commisioned me an adult only pic. Wich was kinda... new for me. Odd, but cool. Allowed me to explore erotica wich is something I wasn't used to.
Also I recently bought a mic
